This test covers the different types of cells that make up your blood. It covers: Red Blood Cells, White Blood Cells and Platelets. Red blood cells may help to discover anaemia, dehydration and a range of other conditions. White blood cells may indicate infection, inflammation or weakened immune system. Platelets help to indicate low clotting levels which may lead to excess bleeding or a high platelet level may indicate increased risk of blood clots and ultimately increased risk of coronary heart disease.
